I recently started having Bowen Therapy with Lotty due to multiple age related “niggles” (70+ yrs) They ranged from tinnitus, vertigo, ache from my jaw to ear, whiplash (neck and shoulder), lower back, tight hamstrings and calves, stiff ankles and cramp in both feet if I tried to stretch them out! I can safely say there has been significant improvement in all but the tinnitus. 9 out of 10 is not bad! We will keep working on the tinnitus as well as maintenance on the others! So glad I took the plunge and contacted Lotty!

Faced with a load of (horrendously costly and potentially disabling) interventions and operations to sort out a chronic limp, we took our 8-year-old Labrador bitch to Lotty. A few sessions of Bowen later and we have never looked back - she's running like a puppy again. We now elect to take her periodically just to keep everything in the right place as she gets older and creaky ... planning to get some done myself. Thank you, Lotty, you gave us our dog back.

I cannot recommend Lotty enough. My 9-year-old son had his first treatment following a fracture. Watching Lotty re align his body and release the tight muscles was incredible. The results being a much, much straighter posture, corrected walking position and the muscle memory changing to enable him to move freely and correctly. He doesn’t slouch!! I believe everyone would benefit from Bowen. I can’t wait for my turn! Thank you, Lotty, ❤️

Hi - I’m Bailey, (a Whippet who just loves to run) I had a very sore and “limpy” leg from chasing too many bunnies at speed. Went to Lotty to help me with a reset around food and dieting. Always struggled with my weight and it was impacting my confidence. My son had a massive fear of needles. Lotty made a recording to listen to and it was a really relatable story that he enjoyed listening to and really helped calm him and make him believe he was strong and could allow the nurse to put a cannula in. Today he had the cannula done and remained calm and confident the whole time. Amazing.

I saw how the horses had improved after their Bowen and wanted some of the same… I’ve been to you for a long standing back problem which sorted my knee problem, and just recently overdoing my yard duties and fixing my shoulder. Lotty, thank you SO MUCH for my treatment, it's amazing how different it feels all over!! it's amazing and the results already speak for themselves... I literally haven't been so 'upright' and "'level' in a very long time (easily months or more) - so far 5 of my family have commented on how "much more upright I am" and that I "look taller" or "you've grown"😅 - Although the best comment was from my 8yr old Nephew who suddenly exclaimed "oh my Goodness you ARE actually taller" 😂🤣 When I'm fatigued, I literally struggle to lift my chin off my chest or hold it up off of my chest for any length of time (with the extent of the Kyphosis & Spinal wonkiness etc🙄), but now I can get my fist in the gap between chest and chin 😯!! I can also turn my head to look easily to both sides, with a greater range of movement, & with my chin not touching my chest, which I couldn't do before!! I'd forgotten just how absolutely amazing Bowen from you is, I do already recommend you to others (both human and Equine), but I would certainly encourage anybody to give it a try as the results are clear and visible❤️ Thank you once again so much, it really feels so Amazing that everything to be so much more open and softer😁.

Lotty was recommended to me to do Bowen on my gelding because he didn’t like being touched very much and Bowen was very hands on hands off. When she came he was his usual grumpy self but she managed to do a bit of Bowen, however, the second time he wasn’t having any of it so with my agreement Lotty switched to Reiki!!! Wow what a difference it made to him!! to start with she carried Reiki out at a distance enabling him to reap the benefits without the stress of having someone touch him or stand too close. Lotty persevered each week gradually getting closer and closer and now is able to stand right next to him with her hands millimetres away from his body. His head is practically on the floor and he almost falls asleep. The plan is to be able to do Bowen and I think it’s going to be possible very soon!! Lotty absolutely oozes positivity, with her around anything is possible!! She is one of the most patient people I have ever had the pleasure of coming into contact with. Thanks to her treatments I now have a relaxed horse that I have a really bonded with.

Lotty is absolutely brilliant with my little pony, Dusty. Massive improvements from her sessions and a much happier pony. Dusty has definitely taken to her! Also excellent at hypno, which I would 100% recommended to anyone thinking about it :-)

Lotty has a lovely calm approach to tackling problems, which put me at ease straight away. Hypnotherapy has given me strategies to use when I can feel panic rising, so that I can face my fears. I used it properly for the first time this week, and it worked, I am so pleased with what I achieved. Looking forward to more opportunities in the future, now I feel I can overcome my fears, rather than avoiding these situations.

What can I say, Lotty encouraged me to train as a Hypnotherapist and so glad I did. I know how amazing this therapy is and so asked Lotty to help me with my issue around riding my very tricky horse, as we have lost our way together. It’s been a battle for 6 years. Lotty gave me a script that I could listen too. It was a real experience of changes, thoughts, tears, releases and slight pain. All this I know is years of holding onto whatever was holding me back. I came out of the Hypno state feeling freer. I still have a way to go and lots to work on. Lotty is amazing! I am a therapist myself, horse rider etc. I know and feel that I am misaligned, & so does my horse!! I do work on myself but I am not a contortionist able to get to the right places. I have sort treatment from Chiro's, Physio's etc but I am still wonky. Lotty has worked her magic and finally I am straight & level. So then Lotty fixed my horse. Result all round just brilliant thank you xx

I have seen Lotty a couple of times for hypnotherapy regarding weight loss. I, like many others, had found lockdown and Covid hugely stressful and very challenging. In turn this affected my mental health and I put on weight. I’ve known Lotty for many years and trusted her with my hypnotherapy and to try to get me back on the right track both weight related and mentally. Lotty has started treating my 6-year-old ex-flat racer and has really helped keep her happy and comfortable while she adjusts to her new life (and new muscles!) outside racing. My mare loves her treatments from Lotty - she’s quite sensitive but relaxes very quickly in Lotty’s hands. Lotty has such a lovely energy - all my other animals usually hang out while she’s there, just to be around her!

Why did I wait so long? Steve and I first met Lotty a few years ago through another means. When Lotty saw our elderly dogs (a Sheltie and a GSD) she noticed how the German Shepard was ‘rather wobbly’ and ‘down’ at the rear end. We had noticed this but just thought it was because a lot of German Shepherds go like this when they get a bit older. However, Lotty offered to ‘sort her out’ with Bowen Therapy and to be honest. we really had no idea of what Bowen was or how it could help, but Spirit (as the GSD is called) is our precious girl, so how could we refuse? Lotty booked Spirit in, and the day came for her treatment. Unfortunately, earlier that morning whilst out for a walk, spirit had one of her ‘wobbles’ and accidentally fell into a green and very smelly ditch! OMG! After frantic attempts to hose her off, she eventually looked sort of clean again – but she still stank of ditch! When Lotty arrived, we explained all of this, but in true ‘Lotty style’, it was no issue at all. She went ahead and gave Spirit (still soggy), Bowen treatment. Spirit then crashed out and slept the rest of the day! The day after, Spirit was still lethargic, she did not really even want to go for a walk, which was very unlike her. However, the next day WOW, OMG, she was literally bouncing. We really noticed that she was walking straight and more upright again and was joyfully running about – something she had not done for a while! Lotty ‘checked up’ on how she was doing and was delighted at the news, so we booked Spirit in for her next session. When the day arrived, our other elderly dog, Teddy, didn’t want to miss out on the action. Teddy (the sheltie) was 10 yrs old and was now getting a bit stiff and had stopped jumping on our bed, so Lotty treated him too. A couple of day later, Teddy was jumping on the bed again, and Spirit was still bouncing! Not long after that, one of our young horses managed to somehow hurt himself and was standing a little crooked on his hind legs. Lotty came to the rescue and a couple of Bowen sessions later, he was straight again. Our story continues ... Steve put his back out – not sure how – Lotty ‘cured’ that in just one session. Our dearest Teddy passed due to an underlying issue and we were devastated. A few months later we acquired another Sheltie puppy, Foxy. When Foxy was approx. 9 months, she somehow hurt herself whilst playing in the garden and was totally refusing to walk! We took her to the vets (twice) and they could not find out what was wrong – apart from suggesting expensive x-rays, scans etc. Bowen Therapy to the rescue again – after a couple of sessions and a diagnosis of sciatic nerve and achilleas tendon issues, Foxy was as right as rain and galloping about normally! I (Lindsey) had managed to avoid having a Bowen session all of this time although Lotty said I was ‘lopsided’ and needed straightening out! I freely admit that I was somewhat sceptical, but I did however understand that animals have no ‘placebo effect’, and I had seen with my own eyes, the improvement in both dogs and the horse. So why was I still sceptical? It was not until my new riding instructor kept telling me to ‘sit straight’ in the saddle and actually videoed how uneven I was! I felt perfectly even myself and was shocked to see the evidence, so I agreed to Bowen. I didn’t admit to Lotty that I was actually suffering some discomfort in my lower back/hip – but she already knew! The day after the treatment I felt really sore and fragile. However, the next day, HEY PRESTO, back ache gone, hip discomfort gone, energy back, feeling level and straight, noticing how I was walking differently……. But the weirdest thing was, when I got back on the horse, my stirrups felt really uneven! This is because previously, I was uneven! Why did I wait so long to enjoy the benefits of Bowen Therapy? We are now all regular clients. Thank you, Lotty, on behalf of all of us!

Our horse Eric had a severe wound on his hind leg which looked as if it would never heal. Lottie Lasered it over a series of weeks in coordination with our vet and the wound healed. Lotty developed a marvellous relationship with Eric, so he was never apprehensive when she treated him.

I called Lotty out to my horse who was presenting with a very wonky back end and general pain in his body. She assessed and treated him 2 times - a week break in between, at the touch of her skilled hands my horse began to relax as she moved all over his body lots of sighs, licking and chewing and general look of love at his now best friend ensued. 2nd treatment there was a real improvement in his movements and general wellbeing he was pleased to have more work and as before the release work was performed and I can happily say my horse is sound once again. We are both very grateful to Lotty for her expertise and understanding of the locomotion that enables our beautiful horses the freedom of pain-free movement. 100% recommend.

Lotty has been out to my horse several times, she has a fantastic way with him, he has several problems, but she is so patient, knowledgeable and kind that he is always totally relaxed and happy with her. Outstanding human and Equine Bowen. I was new to Bowen, after being highly recommended, Lotty has worked wonders on releasing years of tension and muscle issues in my horse. She is now part of his regular training program and the difference in suppleness, balance and his relaxation is amazing. Then I thought I have stiff, reoccurring muscle issues, Bowen may work for me.
